 Product Description

Cornhole Board Set - Unfinished Pressure Treated

This set of boards and bags marries the best of our two designs of Cornhole Boards and provides boards designed to be used and stored outside. We use all pressure treated lumber and stainless steel hardware to help provide longer outdoor life than regular boards that use smoother interior grade plywood that are susceptible to water damage. Most boards have plywood mounted on top of the framing, exposing the plywood edges. As with our Slimline boards, we dado cut our framing and inlay the plywood, so the edges are concealed and protected. And we use 2x4 framing as with our standard boards for greater strength.

These boards are ideal for park areas that want to leave the boards outside. They are heavier and more sturdy than standard boards, with each board weighing approximately 35 pounds. They have fixed 2x4 legs for durability.

For those of you that like to build your own Cornhole boards, but are not sure how to make Cornhole boards, we offer an unfinished Standard Series Board Set, which you can finish as you like. Building Cornhole boards can be fun and enjoyable, but playing the Cornhole game is the goal. Why not save a little bit of work on your Cornhole boards and get to playing faster with an unfinished set of boards. The Board Set is assembled and sanded, ready for you to complete. The legs come unattached for shipping and are easily attached with a slotted stainless steel bolts and aviation nuts, instead of a carriage bolt and wing-nut. If you have worked with carriage bolts, you know that they become loose when tightening and can strip out the wood. With our slotted bolts, you can attach and remove as many times as needed. When assembling our boards, we biscuit, glue, and nail everything together, for greater strength. When painting, we fill any imperfections in the wood a couple of times, then prime and apply the finish topcoat paint. One thing to think about when deciding whether to build your own boards is do you have the right tools? We use a table saw, router, planer, sander, miter saw, biscuit jointer, drill press, various jigs, pin nailer, a drill and a hole saw. A 6" hole saw alone, costs around $40. Why not let us take care of the hard part and you do the finishing?
