This set of boards and bags marries the best of our two designs of Cornhole Boards and provides boards designed to be used and stored outside. We use all pressure treated lumber and stainless steel hardware to help provide longer outdoor life than regular boards that use smoother interior grade plywood that are susceptible to water damage. Most boards have plywood mounted on top of the framing, exposing the plywood edges. As with our Slimline boards, we dado cut our framing and inlay the plywood, so the edges are concealed and protected. And we use 2x4 framing as with our standard boards for greater strength.
These boards are ideal for park areas that want to leave the boards outside. They are heavier and more sturdy than standard boards, with each board weighing approximately 35 pounds. They have fixed 2x4 legs for durability.
The legs come unattached for shipping and are easily attached with a slotted stainless steel bolts and aviation nuts, instead of a carriage bolt and wing-nut. If you have worked with carriage bolts, you know that they become loose when tightening and can strip out the wood. With our slotted bolts, you can attach and remove as many times as needed. When assembling our boards, we biscuit, glue, and nail everything together, for greater strength. When painting, we fill any imperfections in the wood a couple of times, then prime and apply the finish topcoat paint.
Specialty Series Boards

Our boards are hand crafted and include tight joints which are biscuited, glued, and nailed, pressure treated 2 x 4's for strength and rock solid play, pressure treated 3/4" plywood playing surface, with routered top edges. Fixed legs with stainless steel hardware to help resist the outdoor weather. We also use standard bolts instead of carriage bolts for ease of adjustment. Purchased the painted treated series of the cornhole boards to include the cornhole bags. Upon seeing them, the quality of workmanship was evident: heavy duty wood, great finish, and the best is the boards are connected together with snap-on straps for easier storage. The bags are double stitched so they won't break open. Also, the bag material is heavy duty to last.
Prior to my purchase I visited a number local stores looking for a good cornhole set, but was not impressed with any of the sets I found. Quality vs.price was not there. I Googled "cornhole palm beach" and found Cornhole Junction immediately. Looked at their website, contacted them, the owner called me back in 5-minutes. Told Lynn what I was looking for and he gave me some suggestions of what would work.
I made arrangements to meet with him at his company. Upon my arrival he had everything set out. THIS IS HOW YOU TREAT CUSTOMERS.
Please give Cornhole Junction is good look. You will like what you see and Lynn will work with you to get what you want.
